kingsley cottage, beautiful riverside setting was a delightful retreat. the rural location is perfect, sitting on the outskirts of a small village, right next to a charming river and wooded areas. ray's cooked breakfast by the wood burner was simply amazing! we loved the attention to detail with bird feeders that attracted a variety of birds right outside our window.
a mild critique would be that the bed was a bit creaky at times.

The King Room was comfy and clean, with great access to fresh coffee and a handy mini fridge. The views from the room were stunning, especially with a bird feeder right outside the Juliet balcony for some peaceful morning entertainment.
Parking could be a hassle due to the narrow lane and some tricky vehicle access. The breakfast table tended to feel cluttered, and I noticed uneven paths around the property. The bed was a bit low and softer than I preferred, making it tricky for my husband to get comfortable during our stay.

The cooked breakfasts were a highlight, with generous portions that kept us fueled for our adventures nearby. Plus, catching sight of an otter in the river was a once-in-a-lifetime moment! I'd definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature.

Ray and Anne made us feel right at home, with lekker treats and fresh flowers in the room. The brekkie was a real feast, couldn't finish all the options they served! Plus, watching the birds outside our window was a real highlight.
Only minor thing was the bed felt a bit creaky now and then.

The King Room was super comfy and clean, with everything we needed. The mattress and pillows were nice, though the bed creaked a bit now and then. Loved having fresh coffee and biscuits available. The mini fridge was handy. The views were tranquil, especially with the bird feeder outside the Juliet balcony. Ray's breakfast was absolutely delicious and way too much for one sitting, which was a nice problem to have! a great cozy stay.
